FORD MUSTANG MACH 1
This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was originally specified with Candyapple Red paintwork, a blackout hood, a black interior, and a 428ci Cobra Jet V8 linked to a C-6 automatic transmission.
Highlighting the build is the 427 FE V8 that was built by Bob Larkin Performance Engines with ICON forged pistons, Le Mans connecting rods, a Crane Cams camshaft, ARP hardware, Celvite bearings, Ferrea valves, and a tunnel-port intake topped by a Holly Avenger 770-cfm carburetor. It is linked to a replacement C-6 automatic built with a 2,800-rpm stall converter, and the car rides on 15″ Magnum 500-style wheels and has Koni dampers, lowering springs, power steering, and subframe connectors. The body was repainted Merlot Candy coat, and the interior was redone. 427 emblems have been added to the shaker scoop in the black-out hood, and the trim, window seals, rear window louvers, and door handles were replaced.. The front disc and rear drum brakes were also overhauled.
